"What Does It All Mean For Me?"

This clip illustrates brilliantly the times of exponential change and uncertainty we're all living in and causes us to think about ...

"What does it all means for me - at a personal and professional level - and for the business I own or work in?".

Our era in history is demanding as much, if not more, radical change from us as human beings as did the industrial revolution during the 18th and 19th century and yet paradoxically, change is something we're often challenged by.   I know I certainly have been.

Professor Nigel Nicholson, author of: Executive Instinct - Managing the human animal in the Information Age, reflects my own experience as a professional involved in the business of learning and development over more than 30 years.

"Ask Managers what they find most difficult and challenging in their job, and you will get one of two replies. One of the most common (if they're being honest) is a one-word answer, usually after an embarrassed pause:...

"People".

Another frequent response is "the management of change."

For those of us in business, people and change are ever present and inescapable elements.  Through my blog I'd like to share with you some of the things I've learned and used myself - as well as with the people I work with - to achieve success.

It would be great to hear from you too.
